Travis H. Langdon
Mr. Langdon’s practice with LC&A is primarily focused on representing upstream energy companies in all phases of oil and gas transactions. He helps clients navigate complex legal issues arising in the course of their business so they can focus on their operations to achieve optimal efficiency.
Additionally, Travis handles a wide range of energy production issues including title examination, due diligence, acquisitions/divestitures of properties and mineral interests, operating agreements, regulatory compliance, and general commercial services within the industry. He also negotiates surface access and right-of-way issues, helps evaluate water use rights and salt water disposal arrangements, and advises clients on land issues related to wind development in West Texas. He also represents clients seeking counsel on entity formation, real estate development, commercial loan services and general business transactions, and has a strong background in commercial litigation and dispute resolution.
As a third-generation member of the West Texas legal and oil/gas community, Travis is particularly suited to advocate, consult and negotiate for clients in the city’s primary industry. Travis enjoys spending time with his wife Mary and two daughters, as well as tennis, golf, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors.
